Life, they say, loves to throw curve balls at us..they being me and us being females, which makes life female cos she/it's so temperamental and loves to throw hissy fits for no reason. Most times we tend to be unaware and get hit smack in the face, then spend eons struggling to get back to where we were before getting hit.Sometimes we are alert and duck...just in time.(in that case we're safe...for a while at least) it's the times when we cant see them coming and get smacked that I'm interested in.
Getting hit isn't the problem as long as it's not by a guy...sorry i digress. It's getting up that is. Do we really have to get back to where we were? wouldn't it be easier to just take off in a completely new direction and get that excitement about life back into us(despite the fact that she threw balls at us)? could the change or sudden devastation or turmoil not be to our benefit?(please note that the loss of loved ones can never be easy to bear and thus do not count in this post). Sometimes a door closes us off from a place we loved to be in and then a window opens us up to a place beyond our expectation...only if we are willing to let go of the closed door.
Life's curve balls are a way of keeping us in motion cos we as women tend to get complacent when things are fine and we never notice the subtle changes that go on around us in our families. A fine example would be....men...husbands to be precise. Oh well, getting started on this always makes me hungry, besides it's another topic entirely.so i'll be back tomorrow to finish it off. Right now, this doll has got to get dolled up cos its FRIDAY and bright lights are calling!!!
Later dolls!! xoxo
